Welcome To MapsOnline by PeopleGIS.
As you may know, MapsOnline is now eight years old, and the software grows every month with new
features and users. We are happy to report we recently setup a MapsOnline project
in our tenth state (MA, NH, CT, VT, NY, PA, VA, ME, TX, KY), and we look forward
to more projects across the country in the years to come.
We invite you to visit one of our client's publicly available websites
(below) to see MapsOnline in action. Please note that all of our clients have more than one online
mapping site (as indicated). At a minimum each community has two sites; a Public MapsOnline and a Staff MapsOnline. We
provide multiple sites to enable each community to not only share data with the public, but to enable
MapsOnline to become their primary GIS for the entire staff. This results in a need
for password-protected sites for individual departments. We have Police Departments, Fire Departments,
Public Works Departments, Planning Departments, Senior Services Departments, Permitting Departments, and
others who require their own online mapping systems. This degree of customization and commitment to client
success is unique in New England. There are many who provide online mapping....there are few who offer
the features and experience that our communities enjoy.
