The Save Settings Link  enables you to save certain settings so that MapsOnline will open up with these settings the next time you visit the site. This feature can be very handy if you like to work with certain map layers or like to have the mapsize larger than the default map size.

The Save Settings link is found at the bottom of the MapsOnline interface.

Currently, the Save Settings link will save the following:

• Layer Status:  All layers that you have clicked on will be saved on, and all layers that you have clicked off will be saved off.




• MapSize:  Save Settings will save your current map size and open with this map size the next time you visit MapsOnline.

Note:  Saved Settings are stored on your computer as cookies, therefore you need to allow cookies on your computer to use this function.

Note:  Saved Settings are stored on your computer, so your saved settings will not apply if you access MapsOnline from another computer.

Note:  Saved Settings are specific to your browser software. If, for example, you have both Internet Explorer and Firefox on your computer, your saved settings in Internet Explorer will not be honored in Firefox, and vice versa. If you use more than one browser to view MapsOnline, you will need to save your settings in each browser.
