Welcome to the Town of Medfield Online Permit System

Homeowners: Please enter address for the property and click GO. The system will return the status of any current permits and applications for your address and provide links for new permit applications. Owners are only able to pull Building Permits on their own One and Two family Dwellings.

Contractors: If already registered, please enter address for the property and click GO. The system will return the status of any current permits and applications for your address and provide links for new permit applications.

To register, contractors must supply the Building Department with the following documentation to obtain a pin number.

Please supply the following documentation as applicable:

• -A valid and current driver’s license or other form of Photo ID

• -Contractor license

• -Workers Compensation Insurance Certificate and a completed Workers Compensation Affidavit (available here)

• -Liability Insurance Certificate

• -Department of Public Safety "S" License (Electrical Contractors conducting Security work only)

NOTE: Contractors must be registered with the Town’s Online Permit Tracking System before they can apply for Building, Electrical, Gas, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal permits online.
